Constance
Yesterday, my aunt Sylviane (my dad's sister) and uncle Patrick arrived to Germany to visit us. Today, Monday July 26th was a beautiful day without rain, the first in 8 days! Hey I'm certainly not complaining as the whole continental US is suffering from extreme heat (105F in Oklahoma...). So we took the train this morning and headed to Constance, where we visited a nice old church. We decided to go check out the view from the top and climbed the 250 stairs! The views at 60 meter (200 ft) were astonishing, truly amazing. The way down was a bit easier to say the least!! Then we took a boat to Meersburg, we walked up top to the old part of the city (more stairs). Later on, another boat to Uberlingen. This trip sounds familiar, no? We immediately stopped at a cafe to eat a piece of delicious cake and had a cup of coffee, my uncle enjoyed a german beer. This time, we were informed of the time of the train at the correct train station, so no taxi rush!
